My only connexion with Lawro was reading his weekly EPL forecasts he did for BBC sport.
He has been replaced by Chris Sutton who ticks all the boxes same as Lawro.
As for pundits in general they are best ignored.

I did some chauffeuring work for thee BBC over the COVID period, picked up a guy in Woking and we had a good chat on the way, he was on a temp contract and said he’d applied for a permanent position but was refused because the BBC had to give preference to BAME people.
I think that’s fucking disgusting and I’m of the Asian Persuasion! Speaking to the chap turns out that he was 1/4 Indian, told him to go to HR and tell them that.
